Why won't my key turn in the ignition?
The most common causes are a worn key, worn wafers inside the cylinder, or a locked steering wheel. Try turning the wheel gently while turning the key. If that doesn't help, call us — we can usually fix it on site.
Is repairing the ignition cheaper than the dealer?
Usually, yes — you skip the tow and the shop wait. The price depends on the vehicle and whether the cylinder can be repaired or needs replacing; we quote it before any work.
Will I need a new key?
Not always. When possible we key the new cylinder to your current key. If your key is worn, we cut a fresh one to code.
Which areas do you cover?
